I think it would be cool if there were credit rankings, along with the pvp, realm and player rankings.
It could show the position you are in, just say randomly I was like number 164 with 15.2k, the people above me had me credits than me, and people below me had less than me.

Only flaw would be that it is only representative of the wealth they have on them... Someone might be ranked 400th with 2,800 but they have 11 spawn realms worth over 900k plus another 57 realms etc...

A fix for that would be 'Credits Earned' instead of current credit count. So like, starting now, it would count all credits earned for everyone. That would be awesome.

Overall this is a great idea.

I don't think it would be that good of a representation of someone's wealth. My current credit count is only 4 digits, but I own 25 realms, a couple stacks of diamond blocks, a couple stacks of glowstone, and a ton of gold/iron/lapis.

I didn't mean it to signify wealth, I just had an idea that it would be kind of cool to know how much others have comparing to you.
But yea if it was to signify wealth you could do what agent said about the total earned/had.

Every method of ranking is going to have some kind of flaw.

Keeping track of what people earned in total is hard (how to deal with credit transfers between people). Two people could keep sending money back and forth and earn millions according to the rankings. You could ofcourse only count the number of blocks mined but that wouldn't keep track of credits that can be earned without mining (slime, etc). And what about placing and mining the same block over and over?

Current amount of credits would be the easiest to implement though.

Yes of course you can't track slimes and things like that, but I think total credits earned from placing/removing would be pretty dang close.

And of course sending/receiving credits would have no affect. If total credits were counted, a lot of factions would send credits to their leader just to get #1 spot.

I doubt people would do that. I know I wouldn't trust Surgeon with my credits anyway.

And even if people do, more power to them right? The only result is one person in the group having absurd amounts of credits and the rest hardly any. If that's the case it's pretty obvious to everyone what is going on.
