[SUGGESTION] Introducing Jungle Wood

Alot of people have been asking admins to freely hand out jungle saplings, which is obviously not going to happen as it goes against the basic principles of a legit server. But I think we can all agree that it would be good to have them introduced into the world in some way.

So, I'm suggesting that saplings should be made available from an admin shop (Like a chest) for a short period (IE, one week), or in a specific small amount (IE, only one single chest available). This would get them into the world with minimal interference in the economy. They would be very valuable and rare at first, as they would be relatively concentrated, but as people farmed them and sold the saplings, we would in theory have a pretty decent distribution of them after some time.

They would have to be priced properly so that one person won't be inclined to buy all of them and horde them or drive up the price with no competition. So I'm suggesting that the price of a single jungle sapling from the admin shop would be somewhere between 7k and 10k. This would ensure that the saplings are only purchased by players who are fairly active on the server, which would in the long run speed up distribution.

Any additional or alternate suggestions as to implementing the new wood are welcome.

If we were to do this, it would be so much better to price at 100 each (maybe less) and have a limit of 1 per player.

This too. Anything to keep them from becoming too concentrated. Although I don't know how it would be possible to set a 1 per player limit on a chest shop...

Don't worry intelli would find a way, also there was a rumor that intelli was going to spawn some and make some jungle biomes

I don't like admin shops. I'd almost rather just have some select public realms changed into jungle biomes, and then have everyone go crazy trying to find it, whoever finds it, buys it, and there ya go.

One sapling is all it takes for the tree-conomy to go wild.

Maybe make it fun and have a scavenger hunt for a sapling or two.

This seems like the best idea.
A "Admin" Shop seems unlikely; if you know that they won't hand them out freely, or whatnot, it doesn't mean that an Admin hop would be a different concept.

Does this mean that admins would make a profit, purely because of a update?
Personally I would rather a spawn dispenser, that over the course of a week, admins could choose to place one in, for people to try their luck.

I think you misunderstand the concept of an admin shop. The money doesn't go to the admins themselves, it's like when you buy a realm. You pay the server basically.

I did, but I still don't overly like the concept, some of the other ideas, however are may become a reality. (well an rpg reality. Lol)
