Overworld PVP

This is a suggestion from just me, as a player. I would like to know what the rest of the community thinks about this idea.

PVP has been moving away from the nether and into the overworld, seemingly because players can quickly escape death through several commands like /trade, /home, /spawn and even /pvp. This has never been a problem before because PVP was almost exclusively in the nether, but players have been taking advantage of this ability to escape death and have moved to PVP almost exclusively in the overworld.

I propose that while PVP is enabled /home, /trade, and /spawn will not work. This will stop the ability for players to escape death.

To stop /pvp toggling, I propose adding a /yes to confirm the toggle of PVP OR have a toggle time for PVP where you cannot use /pvp again for several minutes after turning it on.

I very much support this.

Sounds like a great idea, I also think PVP should be toggled off after death (coughspawncamperscough)

I think this idea is great, especially with what JohnKlein said.

Not a bad idea. I think the /yes command would be better than simply imposing an arbitrary time limit.

PvP will improve so much if this is implemented.

What prodigy said is a good plan, having a /yes afterward.

Agree 100%. +1 this thread.

It would make pvp far more interesting, but of course, people would run to the red carpet for safety... Still far better, this would be awesome :)
