Hey guys, I just wanted to get a general feel for how people like the new chat system, where tags are replaced with coloured #'s and names now look like <Name>. If you think that it just needs some tweaking, feel free to leave a suggestions below. This poll may or may not change anything.

I think it was better before. The new format is just WAY to hard on the eyes. You have to find a name through these (<>) and these (#) and it is just really annoying. Also, if we were to keep this format, there would have to be something to tell what each color of '#' means.

The use of #'s instead of words such as Admin, Mod, Donor make things worse imo. I've seen plenty of people ask what the #'s stand for and it doesn't highlight easy enough who is a member of staff to newer players. I'm happy with everything else just I think there needs to be "Admin" "Mod" etc instead of #'s.

I'm neutral on it except for help bot. The txt doesn't stand out enough, esp for warnings. Maybe make bot txt a different color or at least the name of the player that bot is addressing.

Having veteran the same colour as motd and announcements is a bit annoying imo.

I say revert everything back but keep veteran tags.

The plain colored #'s for tags are amazingly uninformative to newbies, and the <names> are just kind of annoying. Having the veteran tag in Help Bot green seems a kind of odd choice to me, it seems it would be less confusing and more unique if it was orange or something.

So, my suggestion, put chat back the way it was and pick a new color for the vet tags.

Agreed. It's nice to know who's Veterans on the server, but these # signs are really getting irritating. I can't tell which means what and Admins don't stand out in chat.

Chat is hard on the eyes, older chat looked more modern I'd say, and far cleaner.
