[REJECTED] Removing "Damn" from the swear filter.

I think we should remove it from the filter since so many people use it and it doesn't bother everyone.

If anyone here has a dictionary, They would know that Damn is in it. remove it.

Presence in a dictionary is not exactly proof something is not a swear word, seeing as basically all swear words are in dictionaries.

There are alternatives for this word. I cannot see why people cannot just say darn instead, it is the same length as the other word so it is not like it is easier to type.
I say just keep it in the filter, I see no point on not having it there.

Damn is not as bad as ass, with I don't think is in the filter either. Plus, I don't count damn as a swear word, considering it's definition.

This has been brought up before, and like someone said before, damn can lead to words like "God****", or "D***it".
For that reason I say keep it in the filter.

I do not understand why everyone tries to justify the word usage by it "being in a dictionary" or something about "the definition." I'm sure that all of the words considered vulgar in our current society have a normal, non-vulgar definition; they are also all in the dictionary. Furthermore, why do you insist on using these words in general? As 5150 stated, if you have an urge to shout it out, simply use darn, or better yet, a well-structured sentence describing your reason for the sudden discontent. There is no good reason to be using the word in the first place.

From now on when I am frustrated or annyoed in game I'm gonna go all old school.....
"gosh darn it, gee willickers.....dag nabit" and so forth...
It's a word, I get the whole swear filter thing but in this case it's just over the top and silly.
