Personally I don't like weather, as in most biomes it rains. I hate rain, all it does is lags your computer and cause's annoyingly loud rain sound affects.

Yea, I have my sound effects turned off for Minecraft because of the sound from weather.

ehh i really haven't ever liked rain. i just found it annoying having these blue pixels flying across your screen all the time.

I vote yes, but we will have those trolls asking: "hey modz wer is the rain and snow?????????????????????".
Other than that; Yes, I have been waitin for this.

Another option may be to drastically modify how weather works.

In real life, for example, it only (typically) rains for a few hours at a time.
That would work out to being like 3-5 minutes of rain/snow every 4-5 hours in minecraft.

Wouldn't it make it less legit? I wouldn't mind the weather going away, but it might not be so legit.

I'm also fine with drastically reduced weather time. But I'm more fine with no more at all.

The weather isn't really adding to the legit'ness of the server in my opinion. Other than water plants, what does it really do?

Make snow realms look cooler sometimes?
