a jail would be in the nether made out of obsidian and piston doors. It would before people that have done something like griefing or something that no body can figure out.
The reason for the nether so they cant escape with commands.

We already have something like that. Banishment.

i now but this is a less harmful way if they didnt do anything but that is for stuff that everybody nows about

I think what he means is instead of banning them temporarily hold them in a jail till a verdict can be reached. I think that's what he meant at least o.o

I think that would be a good idea! The person would stay in jail for 1 or 2 days depending on what he did.
There are many severs who also have jails too and supposedly work out great. I think jail would work out great on Minerealm! But he or she would not stay in jail if he or she got permanently banned though.

hold them in a the jail for 15 minecraft days or till the victim or the accused gets banned or neither happens

They could still go through the obsidian, and we have a prison already for griefers. It's called a BAN.

no they cant i tried it and it would be a private realm and the ban thing can be sometimes harsh but the jail is for people that dont now what happened
