Instead of Redstone only allowed in private realms

Why not make it so redstone is only able to be powered in private realms? I say this because when im exploring cave systems, redstone is my choice marker for making my way around, its easy to find, very noticable when you place it, and doesnt take up space when you do either. All that would need to be done is make a script that removes the last redstone/torch if the redstone became powered. Like if i had a torch on the ground, and placed redstone, it would detect powered redstone and remove it, or if i had redstone placed, and put a torch, it would remove the torch should the redstone be powered.

I also realized i could bring a couple stacks of sticks and make a redstone torch trail, but thats not as awesome as having a solid red line guiding be around

Dang I never thought about using the thousands of redstone dust I have as a marker. Thats a good idea but I highly doubt it will be changed just for that reason.

There is already the possibility of having a code delete a piece of dust when redstone becomes powered--I remember seeing that happen for a while during the time when redstone use was completely forbidden.

I just like having a sprawling cave or my mine branches and placing the dozens of redstone you find on the ground making a direct path back to my base/cave entrance it would be a better use for them than making redstone circuts, since most dont need a 1/100 of the redstone you find
