I just came up with this idea a few days ago. What if, in a certain realm, it has a portal, that only the members could break?

A realm has a portal. Members: Let's say, ChronicTacos, Intelli, Bone etc. They are the only ones that can break the portal in the nether. In the Nether, ImaNewbie123 comes along. He takes out his diamond pick, and starts mining the obsidian. He breaks it, and because he isn't a member of the realm that the portal is created in, it says: "Sorry, this is a private portal." or "Sorry, this is a private realm." Either one would work. Now, a member of the realm comes along. He/she wants to break the portal, because he/she is wanting to move etc. They break the portal. It is now gone.

The only problems I can see right now are syncing when a member is removed/added or the realm is sold and it doesn't solve campers or anything. However, I believe that Intelli can fix the first problem, like he did kind of with the channels. Also, he may be able to make the blocks in front of where you come out of protected. I'm kind of expecting someone to beat this down, so I'm not adding a poll yet.

Only problem is that multiple portals in the overworld can sync to the same portal in the Nether. So you could have multiple private realms whose members all would use the same portal.

I think destroying a nether portal is griefing, isnt it?

My Nether portals all have a sign: "Destroy the portal and you will be banned!"

That's YOU. It's not MineRealm Protocol to do that. Besides, that just encourages people to do that, so they can make you mad. When they grief, this is their face:

Pretty sure that anyone destroying a portal can just claim they were trying to redirect the portal to another exit and simply didn't know that you were actively using the portal. That should get pretty much anyone out of a ban for portal destruction.
