Not sure who's realm this was in, but it was a private realm. Look at the chat, it says "Sorry, this is a private realm". (Missed the brewing stand by accident, hit a chest)

If brewing stands in realms are unprotected, anyone could come in and steal your potions that you are working on and you would not be able to stop them. And some potions cost a lot to make (Ghast Tear and such).

You would be losing a lot of credits if you get the potions stolen right off the stand.

I was hoping that brewing stands in realms could be protected.

You kinda have to put a potion in a brewing stand to work on it.

If you are in the room currently, you would not be able to do anything except for taking pictures. And you still wouldn't get your potions back from the criminal after you set up a request for them and they get banned.

agreed, or possibly be able to check logs on them as well?

I think just logs for it, I like the idea of everyone getting access to one, because noobs won't cry.

Ok, while we are at it, let's just get logs for furnaces too!

Furnaces and brewing stands are basically the same. You put something in and it makes something new. Do you want the new (or the old) items stolen? I don't think so.

A noob will have no need to cry about it. They won't have ingredients for making potions and by the time they do, they will already have a brewing stand.

I don't mind that they're public but I'd prefer it to be private.

If your brewing stand is so open and exposed that it can be casually looted by passerby's, then you deserve to have your potions stolen.
