What if you make so that you can give people permissions to half of a realm? Like say, you have a hotel, and a store for the hotel livers.

How would you choose which half? by typing the coordinates?

Maybe some sort of selection item/command combo like world edit? I don't mean really half, like just a part.

maybe a system called subrealms where each realm can be split into quarters to make 4 sub realms which can be rented out and can allow build rights to only a section of the realm?

Maybe this, but you can divide it into any amount, and random squares of it too?

I've seen this idea before and since it isn't implemented now means it got denied back then which leads to a 99% assurance of being denied this time.
Although I like the idea.

The 25x25 subrealms are a nice idea, but I think the ability to customize subrealm sizes would be too difficult to implement, not to mention difficult to use once added.

Okay, then what whatever the other dude's idea was with the realm divided into quarters.

Sounds great in either variation.
