Abillity to turn off login/log out/death notices

I'd like to suggest that a command be added to turn off notifications like Login/Log Out and death notifications.
There are certain times when everyone I know is in chat with me or I'm working on specific project that I'd just like the option to not have too see those notices in the same way I leave chat.
During busy hours those notices can get in my way.

I'm not sure if it can be done, but it's an interesting thought.
It would be nice to have a command like that especially when people are logging off and logging on repeatedly.

Seems like this was discussed before, I am not sure what happened to it.

This would be very nice. I think we all remember the 1-2 weeks when even /msg and party chat was unreadable do to the influx/egress of players.

From what I've read from the "Before posting a suggestion" thread, the best bet for something like this would be to have the /chat command to completely turn off all chat, meaning logins, logouts, death notices, and the player chat all in one. Less commands = simplicity.

I'd have to agree. Sometimes you want to be in complete serenity when mining.
