Idea: Edit map to include minerealm v1.0, 1.5, 2.0, 3.0

I had an amazing experience participating in minerealm's anniversary. I scheduled the day off and got up early to sample the earlier incarnations of the server. Along my journey I heard comments from others, "This was the first thing I ever built in minecraft". Longtime community members were excited to see their old creations. I could clearly see how minecraft itself has evolved over time by exploring with them. There's a lot of history, story and love that went into what makes minerealm what it is today. I feel honored to have been able to briefly visit it.
I wondered if it were possible to edit say, 4 of these maps together and present this new map when minecraft releases. As far as i know, minerealm has historically used finite spaces, it should be a simple matter to edit each space together on a new center point. Spawn 4.0. Ideally all existing realm ownership data is also copied.
Sample layout
1.0 | 1.5
-----------
2.0 | 3.0
When minerealm expands as planned I'd love to see this be the center piece for it's community to build on.
Pros/cons:
Minerealm's past is part of its future.
Old spawns are preserved, immediately increasing the number of spawns available.
A new spawn at coordinate 0.0 for the next generation of minerealm visitors.
New biomes appear outside the existing space.
Either that, or we burn it all down. All hail spawn building our new god and master. We appease it lest it turn angry and smite us again.
