When I check when someone else I know is on, say I do /online Intelli, I get a response giving me either, The player Intelli is online (channel 1) or , Intelli is not online. Last seen 10/22/11. If the player was on earlier that day I don't see when the player was on only the date. It would be more useful to me and I assume many others if /online responded, Intelli is not online. Last seen at 12:00 PM PST, when the player was offline, but was online earlier that day. This would only require changing the /online command to log time in addition to date.

Well, maybe it could. If it only told you the time if it's less than 72 hours or so. Otherwise, people would be able to camp realms that are about to expire and go public.

Didn't think of that, but I think it should say the time only if they played that day. I fixed my original p[ost to reflect this idea. And yes camping realms like that is NOT the intention of this idea, it is only to find out the player you are looking for, oh say is on at 4 every day and you are only on at 8 and therefore you don't see each other.

Will only show a specific number of hours if the player was online during the last 72 hours.
Ex: "Intelli was last online 14 hours ago".

Otherwise, it'll show the date format as-is.

I like this.. then people cant use it for banned/inactive people's realms.

Yes, if this was down to the minute, any realms near spawn or other places that were wanted would be full of people waiting for that exact minute. This way it is the same pretty much and keeps you guessing. (:
