i dont know if this topic has been brought up in the past,
1st idea: i think that there should be some form of price list for majority if not all the items available to buy/sell this will then eliminate any problems over sale prices

2nd idea: to have a server store in all spawn cities where items are ready available by clicking on signs, which i have seen on other servers and i find it to be a good idea, but have them more expenisve than the public trade price lists, to encourage people to buy from ot her players

i had these ideas when i was lets say, "abused", for trying to sell iron ingots at around 35 cr each, so a price list will eliminate any future problems like this. and also will enable new members to minerealm to not be taken advantage of by veterans by overcharging them which again i have seen this happen.
thanks

2nd idea will never happen. We're a legit server, which means no items are spawned.

1st idea, there are no problems over sale prices. It's normal to have people sell things at different prices. The people will decide what they want to pay for them.

Ok then for my second idea then stock is only available if people have sold to the stores so no spawning of items.

And in regards to my first idea you may have not experienced any problems but I have and I bet I am not the only player to have had problems. And the price list is more of a guide not set in stone so people can sell at whatever price they like but the guide is there to give people ideas of what items are worth to help them with selling and buying

These ideas have been suggested multiple times but have never been implemented and have never been received positively by the community.

In real life, we don't have an official list of how much everything has to cost. That is decided by the economy. Minerealm also has an economy, and the prices of items are decided by that.

In real life the majority of products have a rrp (recommend retail price) therefor that is wat the price list would be used for to be a guide. Yes the value of items in minecraft does depend on the economy but it would be a guide not a rule

Just to clarify and to explain my idea a bit more.
The price list would be a guide of sorts to give people an idea of what items are worth. It does not mean that people have to sell at those prices.

The store: as it was pointed out this server doesn't spawn items so I put the idea that the store only has stock if people have sold stuff to the store and the stock is shared amongst the stores in the different spawn cities so if someone sells two stacks of sandstone at roanoke spawn store somebody else at spawn city store could buy them with doing this the server store could collect credits and maybe reduce the tax on trades as an added bonus maybe?

2nd Idea: that would mean implementing plugins which we don't want
1st idea: that aint a problem, the price is simply what one would give for an item it's called offer and demand

Kind of like the idea. But i like the ability to sell stuff at overpriced to people. About a month ago i sold a double chest of cobble for 7k to some poor chap, he was thirlled and thought he had the deal of the century for it. I dont want someone to be asking for iron (typically about 300 a stack) and me selling it for 400 but the buyer complaining because its listed at 300.

If one or more people who trade often would post an average that would be cool, but generally i think blocks should be sold more on supply and demand than 'but the forum says it goes for 'X' RC"
