[REJECTED] [4.0 SUGGESTION] Duels

Well, I was thinking about the PvP system the other day. I think that Overworld (main world, whatever) PvP isn't as good as it could be.

Don't you hate when you and a friend are trying to have a PvP match for fun, but then some party pooper comes and kills you both? I think I might have a solution to this problem, without going into some secluded part of the Nether/Overworld or joining a tournament. My solution is--- Duels!

I know this may sound a tad chocolatey, but I think it is a great idea. Instead of trying to have your own PvP match when other people are around, you can have a private match without any disturbances.

Just type "/duel1 <PLAYERNAME>" to do a one on one match. The invited player will be asked to accept or decline. "/accept" turns on PvP for both players and no one else can join your match. "/decline" keeps everything the way it is and tells the person who sent the invite that the other person declined.

Type "/duel2 <AGAINST> <ALLY>" to have a two on two match. It will ask the invited person to accept or decline and the ally to accept or decline. If one accepts and the other declines, there is no match. Once accepted, the invited person will be asked to pick an ally. Use "/ally <PLAYERNAME>" to choose an ally and the opposing ally will be prompted to accept or decline. If the opposing ally does not accept, the match is off. If the opposing ally does accept, the match starts.

The matches have a timer before they start. The server will say "5, 4, 3, 2, 1, GO!" and the PvP will be turned on. You must be Nether Level (I believe Intelli said 30) to participate in duels.

This suggestion was the main.

This was just a side suggestion that will probably require a lot of coding and just an upgrade to the main suggestion.

WoW did it first, but it's a solid idea, and levels the assy PvP playing field.

I say it's a great idea.

I don't like it that you said "tad chocolatey."
I couldn't concentrate on what you were trying to say because I was thinking about chocolate milk.
Had to read it multiple times because of that :( Darn Chocolate Milk!

Instead of /duel2 <against> <ally>
Why don't we incorporate the party function? (/Party Create, /Party Invite, /Party Join)
If one party member challenges a duel to another party member, it becomes a war basically.
Everyone in both parties will have their pvp enabled.
A cool function would be, everyone in both parties get teleported into an arena when a duel (war) is enabled. :P

Or you can come to the Nex Manus Arena! It's free to use and all you have to is msg me or flan in game.
I also made it so no one can get in from the roof anymore. :3

Idea approved.

However, will not be implemented immediately with 4.0 (In later updates)

Oh, cool!

I didn't think this idea was gonna be approved because it was a bit chocolatey.

I can't wait for these "later updates" you speak of. :)

Yeah, this duel system will work pretty well. The server my brother plays on has a dueling system a lot like that.

Bones, what Vailure meant by WoW is World of Warcraft.

I know that, I just didn't know it had duels. Not a big WoW fan...
