So we've been having alot of controversy regarding pvp within the trade room. We have been warning/kicking players but I don't think any have been banned over it yet. So the question/poll is should pvp be allowed in trade room or disabled all together.

Post your thoughts and concerns and we appreciate the feedback.

Less restriction on PvP = Happy times for all, or at the very least for me.

This is mostly regarding the players who just attack everyone in trade just to see who has pvp on, but mostly the ones who camp right next to where /trade spawns you and they kill right away.

The rule is no pvp in trade, but a rule that can't be enforced is meaningless. Judging by the amount of pvp happening when mods/admins are offline, the only way to enforce this rule is by disabling it server-side.

It's people's choice to turn on PVP, we can't babysit them forever. No PVP restrictions, just standard rule of not interfering in trade rooms would cover any legitimate concern. I think "organized" pvp in trade room should be discouraged, but tactical ambushing pvp should be legit. If we start this, where will it end? Will we disable pvp in the nether rooms too? What about if I build a trade room? What about in my shop? What about if I build a nether room to my city? It can go on and on. So I think pvp should not be disabled.

I think it should be disabled in the trade room. The trade room is made to only do trade, not fight. It is a place were valuble goods are taken to it almost constantly and you have to use a special command just to enter and exit it. I think if you type /trade it sould also disable pvp on you untill you type /trade again (and thus have left the trade room).

I know there have been times when I was running through the nether, saw someone wanting what I had to sell or vice versa, and quicly went overworld, type /home, got the goods, typed /trade and ran into a trade room only to then think if i had pvp on or off. The only way to check is to toggle it and I sit and think, do I want to toggle it right now or not.

Anyway, I think it would be nice, but we should all check before we go to trade to protect ourselves.

I think it should stay the same. Just i like the PvP in nether.... gives me something to do

I don't think pvp should be allowed in trade. Even if you can disable oneself from being pvp-able, I do not think trade is the appropriate place for it. I do not want to go to trade to conduct business and see people killing each other, it's just not classy. You don't go to work irl and punch co-workers, do you?
