seems like myself and probably everyone else types /realm members as one of the first things they do after logging in

Can we have this information displayed automatically upon login, like part of the MOTD?

This would be really cool.

It's hard when I'm lagging...

This is why I use macros and just press my L key when I login and it birngs up my members list

Then go get a chat mod that enables them then you will not that hard.
