Greetings, fellow Minerealmers. As I am sure you are all aware, the weather, rain in particular, has lately become quite a nuisance. It is advertised that rain is not supposed to happen too often (by notch I believe?), however it seems we get it multiple times every IRL day. Therefore, the most logical solution would be to turn off the weather. Hardly any players would miss it, and it would reduce the lag on the server in general. It would also improve vision during the day, and not force players to turn their music and sound to 0 to eliminate that spammy rain noise. Post any thoughts below

I agree, it rained like 5 minecraft days straight.

It took me a little while to get that one as well...

Chocolate is yummy, but vanilla is better.

IIRC the weather has effects on gameplay, with rain causing crops to grow faster and snowfall replenishing the snow in cold biomes. Getting rid of weather would be more than just an aesthetic decision, so I doubt this will be done.
