Hey,

'Is there an Admins on... Is there??? Adddminnnn,,, Hellooo?'
'Modddd I need a Mod!! Someone, is there a mod on? I need help!!'

You get the idea, it happens every now and again;

Life would be made easier if there were as well as the command:

/players

that there were also the commands:

/mods
&
/admins

Cheers,
Roobean

No.

/modreq is better.

The users that whine for a mod like you mentioned above coincidentally will not know how to use commands. The users that use commands often probably have been around long enough to know who an admin or mod is from the /player list. Nice idea though.

A much simpler alternative would be to color admin names red, and mod names blue in /playerlist.

You should add a poll to this idea so we it's easy to see what people think, as should everyone who posts here.

I think this is a great idea. I agree that most of the people who ask in chat for a mod/admin will continue to do it, only now we'll be telling them about the commands instead of just telling them who's on.

I do find it hard to sort through the huge list of players with the /who command, when the server is full it's impossible. I vote yes.

The idea of making their names colorcoded in the player list would be fine, but having a separate list would be even better. With colorcoding, you can see whether or not one is around, but (depending on the level of chat/login/logout/death activity at the time) it may scroll past too quickly to see who exactly it is.

While they can't do much permanent damage, griefers/trolls/spammers/idiots can still use this to their advantage, causing chaos when they can see the mods aren't around, or biding their time when they are. Additionally, the mods would probably be FLOODED with requests, making their jobs that much harder.

Also, if you know who the mods/admins are, as most veterans should, why on EARTH can't you just /online them?

Your poll needs another option.
4. It isn't needed.
