In my case, clouds go right through my creation, which gets very annoying. If they could be turned off that would be great. Thanks.

Clouds are client side. You can remove clouds completely from your minecraft if you edit the cloud file to erase them. Unless Notch changes the way clouds function, this is your only solution.

If you're feeling lazy and don't want to figure out how to do it yourself, I believe the Painterly Pack gives you an option to disable clouds all together when you make a custom pack.

Thanks Jt. No more texture packs please, my Java is so screwed up. I have been going through force updates and looking through all sorts of folders recently. I'll just delete the clouds from my minecraft client b/c I'm so familiar with it.

I'm with you el_wolf My java is very messed up, and can not even be read when I try to install certain texture packs


Also same thing on my Mac the java reader has been corrupted

According to the minecraft wiki and the mojang team, clouds will not go through buildings in 1.8.
