Minerealm Community Forums

would it be possible to reopen the board that was outside the spwn, so people could write news about what is currently going on in minerealm? i thought it was a great concept to have, but too many people griefed it. i wish that there was a more permanent version of it, somehow ungriefable. where people could post what there trading and what the community is doing as a quick reference to maybe what is going on in the forum. < this is because not all people check the forum as much as i do.

We had a thread supporting bounties not to long ago. That was on the last map, where people could plop down 30x30 realms anywhere, and expand them as far as their hearts content. Everywhere that wasn't a realm had full PvP enabled. The only place that you can really have PvP combat now is in the Nether. It was inevitable that someone would have to leave their realm for a PvP zone on the last map, now they can just pay people to get Netherrack or glowstone instead of venturing out into that PvP zone to get it themselves. The days of the bounty hunter are over.

It doesn't necessarily have to be for who you want killed though. Maybe just a news bulletin board where people could post things up like ''I built blah at location blah, come check it out "

Would be handy for shop advertisement too.

This is something someone could set up themselves by buying a realm close to spawn. You could just add people you trust (maybe for a nominal fee).

yeah sorry cogohst by bounty board i meant a news bulletin just like the wooden one outside of spawn built not to long ago. people could post, "i built blah at blah location," or "selling 6 stacks of blah" "buying 6 stacks of blah"
its also could just a quick reference to anyhting that could be going on on the forum as well. but i think that it would have to be built just outside of spawn, because thats where the trading area is, and not all players would want to walk 100 blocks just to see "whats up" in minerealm. Also, cogohst your idea it would be a private realm, so people wouldn't be able to advertise, just one thing to point out.

debatable. i don't think it is a good idea at all, i just tried it, and all sorts of players found it helpful. but then the vultures came in (not naming names) but just started braking it running away accusing me of braking my own board. then some other kid came in and claimed the board as all his idea, and that it was his. looks like a private realm is the only way.

Since people cannot be trusted, I think the only way this would work would be a mini plugin, which unless this idea gets a ton of support or intelli likes the idea it would be just too much work.

It's not that much effort to check the forum though, if you really want the full minerealms experience, they you'll check the forums. If not, oh well.
