[REJECTED] Who Placed/Destroyed What Command for Everyone

Earlier today, I found out I had lost 4 diamonds and all my iron. I had been robbed from again. Now, this time I had blocks over my chest so if a mod had been on, they could have come right away and checked it out.

What I am proposing is that all players have the ability to use the command. The average player still can't ban, but at least we have some consolation as to who did it (we just know to watch out for them, or kill them when we get the chance).

Also, since you now know the name, you can see if their name has appeared in the bans thread anywhere. This way, you know to contact a mod (if their name isn't there), or to just move on/ provide more evidence against their ban/appeal (if it is).

Overall it would be helpful, and possibly save the mods lots of time. Oh, I forgot to mention, players can't perform rollbacks either. Besides some possible lag issues (?) it would be great, in my opinion.

I'd hate to shoot this down, but I must. If you get griefed, you are supposed to notify a moderator. The moderator can then see who did it, and take immediate action. We don't have to tell the player who did it, although we can. If all players could hold a sign in their hand and left click blocks to see who placed them, or removed the block on top of it, it would make things worse. A) It would cause pointless harassment to the aforementioned player, and B) add unneeded server processes. I can literally fill up my chat log in .5 seconds by spamming that. Every time you use the sign, it contacts the server, looks for the log of who did what, and responds. It is an easy thing to spam. It would not help out moderators either. Even if you could see who did what, I would not take action based on what another player said. I would go to the spot and check again.

Yeah. I guess your right. I see where you are coming with that.
