TNT - Renabled on Creative

Hello world of Minerealm!
As we all know I have begun (and almost finished the Main Hall
) work on the city of Liaguie. Now, the main hall is about 102x50, give or take a few, and needs to have a depth of 8 cubes. It took me two weeks to get a lot of it ready, but now the main digging has begun.
There is A LOT of it to do. It would be so much easier with TNT enabled. TNT has many pro's and con's in the world of Minecraft. It can be a helpful item, or the item that blows up the world. I am going to list a few of the pro's and con's.
Pro's
It makes mining (just deleting blocks in creative) a lot easier sometimes!
Great surprise attack on players in mazes and other sports events.
Can create a spectacular sight for tourists if you have a TNT show type thing going on.
CANNONS!
Con's (A.K.A: The Dark Side)
Lag
Easier for people to grief.
Can make a big mess if used incorrectly.
Contradicting Statements
1. Easier for people to grief (Cite: Con's - Statement Two)
Yes, this is true. But remember, we do have rollbacks. They have saved us many times and have fixed our beloved monuments at spawn. It takes time for the mods to do their stuff, but hey, that's what they're there for; right?
We could also have a "rights system" for this. Although it might be a bit for Intelli to program, I think it might be the best offer. Only trusted players (players who have been "regulars" for at least 3 months, is how I would classify them) would be able to enable TNT.
Another idea would be like the mod water/lava thing.. This system works like the following (from a mod/admin POV [today it will be... S292r]):
catsfuzz: Hey, s2!
S292r: yeah?
catsfuzz: do you think that you could come place some TNT and enable it, please?
S292r: yeah sure!
*S292r ports to Liaguie (where catsfuzz is) and places/enables the TNT where needed*
catsfuzz: Thanks s2!
S292r: No problem!
2. Damage is on Server Side - Impossible to Trace/Rollback (Cite: Kerovon's comment)
I feel that the "rights" system would easily fix this. Only trusted players, who we know will NOT grief, will be trusted with the TNT privilege.
(More "Contradicting Statements" will be added as the discussion continues!)
