I have discovered that when riding a horse and jumping, it is possible to destroy crops in a private realm. I therefore suggest that we protect the crops from this form of grief.

Not much else to this. Its a private realm and crops are already protected from human trampling so why should horses be left out?

Put crops in protected area. Problem solved. Lines of code modified: 0.

You can do that by jumping on crops without horses, last I checked.

Only because if someone gets a horse to the few crops I grow, I'd sooner congratulate them than tell them to leave. I'd also seal them in with the plants and tell them I'll be taking the horse for damages.

No but seriously, just protect your crops with walls and piston traps that smash people to death for being uncouth youngsters.

It it's a vanilla aspect of the game, leave it as it is (and what everyone else said).

In other people's private realms? I figured since you can't trample other people's crops by foot why should horse be any different? Of course doing this to yourself on your realm is your fault and that not what this suggestion is about. But I saw this as sort of a griefing thing that lets you steal other people's things unnoticed.

-Edit- Just to be clear. The suggestion is designed to protect crops in private realms that are not yours. For example, if a person at spawn had a wheat farm, at the moment, I can steal all of his wheat by jumping on the crops with a horse. In the same scenario, doing so with your feet would do nothing.

... You can't trample crops on private realms, however, the newly added horses are able to trample crops.

This suggestion is a reminder to intelli to ensure horses can't trample crops.

Isn't that harassment? Or are you being sarcastic.
Also, I would think that this should be fixed. Even if it is petty crime, it could still be a major crime if someone has a *open* wheat field, and the griefer has a horse that can jump *high* (4 blocks) walls.
