Hey everyone,

After doing a bit of wandering around the server, I've come to the conclusion that there's an extremely limited number of trees in public land.



Therefore, I propose we regenerate trees in public realms. I'd use a custom script, to ensure they regenerate properly (not floating in the air, etc)

Why?

The main purpose of this would be to help out new players. Trying to get started on a server where there are no trees can be fairly discouraging.

So, vote!

Two questions

1. Will this be a repeatable thing? (ie once the server gets deforested again)
and
2. Would it also be possible to do something about all the floating tree tops at the same time?

Looking at the map some area's are stripped of tree's but then others have plenty.

While its great to help the new players find tree's it still doesnt solve the issue that most players dont bother to replant tree's.

Yes finally. If we could get more land regens like this our map might not look like such a mess. Im all for putting a more natural look back into MineRealm, and if it helps out the new players too, all the better. +1

New players have a hard time finding resources this would help them a great deal as there is barely any public trees on the server, so yes.

Sounds perfect. I assume it would take hours for a new player to actually find a tree so they can make tools and then torches. I was thinking of trying to do that some time to see how long it took me.

What happens if trees are regenerated in places where you have planted new ones?

Yes. But it would have to be in the appropriate biomes. I want mobs/Horses to spawn.

At first I voted no, trees are messy (personal taste), not vanilla, not legit...

But if it helps keep new players, I guess it's not that bad. I can always remove the trees near me if I don't like them. Changed to a yes.
