Minerealm Community Forums

The Ban Appeal section of the forums has had some clear rules specifying what your title should be for your ban appeal, but many still do not follow this.

I simply propose that by default when you create a topic in the Bans section the title is automatically set as Ban Appeal: <registered in game name> and can be toggled in settings for those who make many Ban Requests.

Please do not vote no and leave no reason.

My reasoning is if people cannot follow/read the rules of the forum by posting in the correct format then they more than likely wont follow/read the ingame rules so this may have some bearing on the length of their ban. If an unban at all

Guys your meant to post why you vote no, silly :3

Staff could remove posts from the forums if you make a suggestion for it, if your issue is clutter in the forums then make a suggestion on how to fix that.

Still, then you would have to wait for staff, and possibly make them do something they may not want to do if that idea would be suggested.

Another idea which you may want to suggest is the "drop bar" auto has it in.

Well, I voted a very wobbly yes.

I'd like to see less ban appeals registered as "what did I do?" or the like.
While at the same time, LARDIMUS_PRIME puts up a good point.

Of course, the lack of rule reading could simply be fixed by staff providing links to to the rules telling them to read them, it's very easy to copy paste stuff like that.

That said, noobs will be noobs.
Some people are just born to make things messy and act like a fool, and that's what they do best. Sometimes there's just no stopping it and there's nothing you can do about it but clean up after them.

Maybe add the default format of Ban requests in the drop bar?
