[REJECTED] Suggestion: Animal Protection System

Stemming from this thread
here, this suggestion allows all animals to be protected if they posses a name tag. This protection means that all animals, regardless of their location, that have been 'named' will be under a protection similar to the realm system. Only the player who named the animal will be able to harm it
when PVP is turned off. If PVP is on, any other player can kill/harm any animal with a name tag under the possession of said player.
This does not apply to hostile mobs (creepers, zombies etc.), otherwise we could potentially have an army of invincible zombies. The horror!

Name tags are rare, aren't they?
You can only find them in dungeon chests

That's the point.

Why not keep mobs from noob protection in general so they will all be protected unless part of the realm itself.

But how many name tags are there? How will they be spawned in?

Don't think named animals should be able to be protected in public realms; only in private realms.
For example, if you have a named animal in a realm you own, that also has TornadicManiac as a member, only you and TornadicManiac would be able to kill the animal.
However, if you moved the animal to a realm owned by Rokkrwolf312, then only you, and the members of that realm, would be able to kill that animal. Non-realm members still wouldn't be able to attack it.
Also, you could have it that if you're riding an animal, such as a pig or a horse, other people can't attack it unless you have PVP enabled, even in public realms.
Voted no for the suggestion as it is.

I don't see any problems with this. If you can change it, that would be great.

That idea should be in the original topic somewhere. And as I said, you are Admin and you can edit this however you please, as long as the community agrees.

How are we going to get name tags though? Without a wilderness wipe they are unobtainable. They are only found in strongholds, dungeons and nether fort chests.
