Minerealm Community Forums

By forum home page I mean "Minerealm.com/community"

In all honesty I don't really care what or where people post. I would love to see the ability to change what you see on the homepage. Maybe add a small checkbox next to each section on the side bar and that is what you see on the main page.

Pros:
Less fuss over who sees what.
You don't have to be cluttered with what you don't want to see.
You get to see more of what you want.
A more friendly UI to those who constantly use the forums.

Cons:
Can't think of really anything. Shouldn't be too much coding. If there is I stand corrected.

Now THIS is a good idea. Everyone would see their own customized index page and wouldn't complain.

Finally, a compromise.

Argh, you beat me to the punch. I had something like this copied to my clipboard and was going to post it in the thread about chat being removed from the main forum page.

I vote yes.

I vote no. Why? It adds nothing. There is another way of circumnavigating this problem, as quoted below:

I see what you and Intelli are saying, but that doesn't fix the problem as stated in this suggestion. The main forum page is something we are all forced to see what is being put in sections we don't really care for. Its just an added luxury is all it is.

No, it does not exist. Literally the only con to this suggestion is the additional coding it would require.

Voted no. Intelli shouldn't have to do more coding to compensate for forum users' laziness
