I am not sure if this has been attempted before, but I might as well try. I'm thinking this would be something almost like a buddy or guild chat, but it would be used to talk about trading and could be toggled on/off with something similar to /chat. I suggest this because I notice the public chat is often swamped by trade proposals, auctions, and offers whenever I am playing. It may be a bit difficult to work out, but if people accept it I believe that it may help keep public chat as more of a 'chat', not an 'Oh you should buy my stuff'.

tl;dr: People won't use it and will still trade in the main chat. Pointless. Server also isn't large enough to attempt to enforce something like this.
