Sorry if this idea has been suggested before, I could not find one similar to this idea in the Ideas/Suggestions.

This idea will allow you to turn off certain chats like buddy, guild, global, and messages. This way if someone is spamming one of the chats but you still want to talk in the other chats. If /chat just disables the global chat and leaves the other chats open then say so please.

The new commands:
/chatglobal: Turns off just global chat and allows you to see the other chats
/chatbuddy: Turns off just buddy chat
/chatguild: Turns off just guild chat
/chatmsg: Turns off just msging
/chat: Turns off all chats

Pros:
No more having to /chat to not see all the spamming and miss out on your other chats

Cons:
More coding for Intelli

You can still see guild/buddy/etc chats with the main chat disabled.

There is an option to turn chat completely off in the normal minecraft client, in "Multiplayer". That and /chat is sufficient IMO.
