Recently, something has come to my attention. Specifically, I took a look at dlgn's post count, and then his posting history to see where he got his posts. I noticed the following things that he has done:

• Making threads specifically to spam his posts..
  Making pointless threads to brag about his post count.
  Double posting.
  Triple Posting.
  More Triple Posting.
  Using forum alts to quintrigenuple (35) post.
  Copy and pasting stupidly long repetitive chunks of text.
  Being creepy.
  Generally lowering the level of intellectual activity on Minerealm.

Please note that this is merely a very small selection of the crimes against Minerealm's forum goers that dlgn has committed.

For all of these reasons, I feel the best course of action we can take is to lower his post count by 2000. This will punish him for spamming so many posts by effecting his post count, which, it would appear, is how he derives his self worth.

Pros:
dlgn will have a much lower post count
An important message about the consequences of spam posting will be delivered
Much hilarity will be had by the majority of Minerealm.

Cons:
Staff would need to work to reduce his post count.
dlgn may try to swear eternal vengeance against me (A price I am willing to accept for the good of Minerealm)

I urge of you, please, consider the good of Minerealm when you make your vote. Take this crucial step for the good of all of us (except dlgn).

No, making one, singular, thread, because I enjoy posting funny things.

Significant amount of time, and I'm the only one who posts there regularly, so of course it would be a triple post.

Using forum alts to quintrigenuple (35) post.

It was a joke, it didn't spam the forums (since it was only one thread, and a thread specifically designated for spam-like jokes of that sort), and it didn't even significantly increase my post count because most of the posts were by my alts. Nice use of that word, though.

In a thread that was, as I said before, specifically designated for spammy jokes.

Being creepy.

I've stopped being creepy.

Generally lowering the level of intellectual activity on Minerealm.

To the contrary; I'd argue that, as long as you stay away from my thread that's made specifically for spam-like jokes (and other chat threads of that sort, often made by others as well as myself), I raise it significantly.

p.s. If this thread were in chat, I wouldn't take it so seriously, but as it isn't, I'm rather offended by its implications.

EDIT: And I do not derive my self-worth from my post count. The majority of the self-worth that I get from the MineRealm Forums derived from the amusement of my fellow users and their friendship. Not that I wouldn't be upset to have my post count decreased for no reason other than that a certain non-staff who I've never heard of thinks that I'm spamming.

Absolutely NOT. Legitimate suggestions should not be made to deride and humiliate clearly specified players. That is a direct offense to that player and is UTTERLY BASE and LOW. Should Dlgn keep his postings concise? Frankly, we all should. If you have a problem with someone's jokes and antics, be mature and tell it to him personally, do NOT attempt to ridicule him in front of the general public, doing so is one of the epitomes of immaturity.

[Edit]: Had this been in the "Chat" section as a light humored joke (like all suggestions in the "Chat" section are), I would not have ranted so but vote in favor of the suggestion.

Either you have stalked these forums for a while (noticing you have no confirmed IGN)
OR you are obviously someone's ALT, because anyone new would not know where to find, point out, and make a "Suggestion", specifically about DLGN!!
