[INVALID] Animal Locations

O.K. So I have this idea (hopefully it wont be shot down) for the server to increase the ease and cost for people to own animals on the server. Often times I see animals being sold (rather expensively) on the server. My Idea is to create small locations at the corner of about every 1000 blocks that will hold Mooschrooms (cows can be obtained by sheering Mooschrooms), sheep, pigs and chickens for the sole purpose of harvesting eggs.
I have a design in my head for what the farm would look like to prevent escaping animals and such. Each animal would located on a different floor and when the floor beneath their feet is broken the animals will be pushed by water into a holding section for retrieval. Of Coarse greifing would be an issue and i certainly don't have the credits to purchase every realm that these farms would be on. Much like the subways I am hoping that the players on the server will have a feeling just to respect the Free Animal Locations (FAL's).

This should be in the Communities section.

That said, this has pros and cons.

Main pro: people have access to good things. HAPPY PEOPLE!
Main con: people have access to good things. THE MARKET JUST CRASHED!

So, I'm undecided.

That's a kind and helpful thought :). However, this should not be a server suggestion. If you actually want to make this happen, do it yourself. Buy realms, for example, on the 4 corners of the map, and make a farm in each corner with instructions to ask you to release 2 animals for the person to take. If you really want to make this happen, that's the best course of action. I'm sure other players would be willing to help you build these :). However, the server's rules are not going to change for this, and you won't be able to have, for example, a system where 2 mobs are given to each player, because that wouldn't be legit and we try to stay as legit as possible :).

Animals are expensive because having each player hoard a bunch of animals adds to server lag. Rent my farm instead! ;)

Also, IMO, mooshrooms are only great for decoration. Please don't breed 50 of them.

Just increase the server difficulty so they do spawn more naturally rather then extremely low to not at all.

I've been finding a lot of animals walking from spawn to my villie realm lately.
Not only that but just wandering around in general, so I think they are starting to spawn naturally anyway.

I also noticed mobs are taking more hits to kill since the 1.5.2 update today/yesterday
