I suggest when someone is banned the reason is posted on the forum by the person who banned them

Have you ever actually read an appeal?
When someone is appealing and they ask why they were banned, they are told why they were banned by Staff. Usually rather quickly.
This suggestion is useless.

The idea is when an admin bans someone they post in the bans section of the forum why the got banned this makes it fair for the person being banned to respond to what took place and eliminates a lot of the guess work and also save the admin time and being asked questions, there is a case in which someone got banned then didn't play for 6 months when they came back they realised they were banned it would be hard for them to appeal as they would have no clue
I've been banned before and read the hole forum

We always try and reply to appeals as quickly as possible. If people ask within their appeals we tend to tell them why.
Furthermore, this wouldn't work for one key reason: quite a few people never appeal. If we posted in the bans sections for every ban, it'd be cluttered beyond belief.
Currently the ban list stands at 94167. Imagine, 94167 posts in the bans section informing the banned of the reasons...
This will get shot down and shot down hard.
No.

I've been banned before and have read the entire forum.
I fixed your post for you.
Admins already do this, and like Torn said; there would be many thousands of posts in the 'Bans' section of the forums. A good deal of people don't even appeal their bans, so why make a post for them?

To elaborate on what tornadic said, if we made a post for every one of the 94173 bans (Yes, it has gone up since his post), we would be making posts very frequently, which would reduce our ability to actually keep banning people in game. It would also make the ban section literally impossible to navigate, and anyone who does actually try to appeal would have their post immediately buried by mods posting reasons. This means that while, if they search long enough, they might find their reason, they would also be incapable of getting unbanned, because their appeal would never be seen.
