[REJECTED] Change Veteran Achievement

Currently the "Veteran" achievement is for someone who has played on Minerealm for a year or more. Personally there is a problem with this as it is possible to join the server, not play for a year, then log in again to recieve the Veteran achievement having hardly played Minerealm. So to change this i propose that instead of just having a year on the server i think we should change this to hours played on the server.
Time Ideas
365x24 = 8760 hours - Way too much (this is to play for a straight year)
365 x 1 = 365 hours - I think this would be a good amount of hours to get the "Veteran" achievement as it would mean an hour a day. (Obviously not saying you have to play a hour a day as you could play two hours the next to shorten the days taken to get the achievement)
The time could be put lower but this is just my suggestion.
Pros : Would stop people easily getting the achievement by hardly playing. This would shorten down the amount of "Veterans"
Cons : Should we disband all the current Veterans to the hours they have played and if they havent played the required hours (if so) remove their tag? Could be unfair to some players?
Additions
We could add a countdown timer to see how many hours they have left to play to get the achievement?

I like how the veteran achievement is now, so I voted no. However, I think this would be a good additional achievement. Perhaps Intelli will consider it even if this is rejected.

Assuming you play 4 hours a day, every single day, it would take 6 years to get the Veteran achievement if it was changed to what you described (In the first example).
Aka; No one would have the achievement, not even Intelli.
The achievement is perfectly fine how it is.
I voted no.

One thing to consider is whether the server has even kept track of how long anyone has actually played. Keeping track of join dates is easy, just saving the date once when they join. Keeping track of hours requires constantly updating the data (at least at login/logout).
Additionally, someone could just leave their account logged in and just sit afk for hours, earning the achievement early, getting it with just 2-3 weeks (using the 365 hours).
While its true I don't like vetnubs, I'm going to have to vote against this proposal.

I think the most reasonable change is to incorporate both the at least 1 year, and the 365 hours played, so you need to have met both of those requirements to be a vet. The hour requirement would be more of a secondary check, rather than a primary component of the achievement in my opinion. That being said, I don't know if Intelli tracks hours logged in, so I don't know if that is very viable. Maybe something like logged in more than a certain number of times or in a certain number of months (logged in in 12 different months in addition to the first logged in over a year ago) as the secondary check.
I also occasionally lobby for a super-vet for people who have been on for either 2 year, or since he started logging that stuff, which might also need something like the hour requirement as well.

A better merit would be number of blocks placed or broken. Of course, that translates into credits.. which translates into wealth. Wealthy players play more often, less wealthy players play less. We already know who plays more or less often, and who's been here forever. No need to pin useless achievements on each other.
Ninja edit: I agree with Kero above me though, there should be a 'super vet' status for people who have been around for 2 years or so. Maybe list the Minerealm version they joined (which can easily be established by join date. Eg "Derp joined in 1.0" or "Herp joined in 3.0"

Lower Intelli's workload. Let him focus on important things like quartz.
I vote no.
