[REJECTED] Add La*d To The Swear Filter

I have seen a couple of people using and abusing the word "la*d. I just think this word is not a word i would let some of our younger players see. So therefore add it to the swear filter.
Downfall: Does it mean something else aswell?

Lard? Land? Laid? Laud?
Not sure which word you mean but they're all perfectly valid English words and are not swear words. I guess laid could be used in a non-family friendly context, but that hardly validates adding it to a 'swear' list.

Lard, as in LARDIMUS_PRIME.
It's someone they are calling for. It's basically his nickname because we're too lazy to say LARDIMUS_PRIME.

well it's not on the swear filter now so you can say it without the * there.

if you are referring to lard it is one of my many names
lard, lardy, lardi, lardimus, prime and ofcourse lardimus_prime so if it is the word lard you are suggesting be added to the filter you raise a problem for people who want to talk to me as all but one of my names contains "lard".

I will trust the instincts of my one track, dirty mind here and presume you mean 'laid'.
To me, personally, this is a ridiculous suggestion (no offence). Why do I find it ridiculous? Because there are so many contexts that 'laid' can be used without insinuating any sexual activity, and few contexts that insinuate sexual activity.
It is not something like 'rape' which almost always leads down the sex related road.
