[REJECTED] Command to just block new peoples talk in chat

Ok, it seems for whatever reason, at a certain time of day, the server just gets flooded with new people, who come on just to swear and spam, say 'skyrimguy' repeatedly, beg for food, ask to be admins and say that the server is gay. Right now as I'm posting its ridiculous.
What i would like is, instead of having to turn off public chat, there was a command to turn off just new people in public chat. So that basically everything said by someone with a green + next to their name got blocked, but nothing else got blocked.
Cheers

ShaddowCraft has an Ignore [IGN] feature. Useful stuff there... I remember when I blocked Intelli as a test. Worked like a charm.
That said, the ability to block people has been suggested repeatedly and shot down repeatedly. Just post ban requests and use ShaddowCraft.
ShaddowCraft.

Seems like a good idea on the surface, but imagine if it was your first day on the server and the only people in chat were nubs? Doesn't seem fair to carpet bomb everyone who is new just because the majority of them are... well, idiots.
However, I just logged on for 15 minutes and the server is flooded with 90% idiots asking the same questions over and over, so I'm out for a few days until this 1.5 madness dies down.
I pay to play on this server and can't. Because nubs ruined it.

This has me severely confused. Pray tell, who are you paying?

Cube/Ryu: I can see how you were misled by that I wasn't in such a great mood when I typed it, apologies... It was a bit of a dig at the lack of donor benefits it suppose. Isn't really relevant now I think about it. Nobody forced me to give money to the server and I was never led to believe it would grant me anything other than the blue tag.
But back to the topic, I logged on in the middle of a noob flood earlier and my gameplay experience was terrible. I know we were all new once but today was ridiculous. I'm not against new players or expansion, I'm just annoyed by noobs, trolls, and general stupid people.
But blocking them in chat won't fix that.
Heh.

Hmmk. Thanks for clearing that up. I was wondering if you'd been paying someone to play on MR, ehehehe...

Hmmmm I find it easiest to just disable chat via /chat when the new player flood becomes unbearable. I think it would be more confusing to just ignore the +'s because you'd still see all the other non +'s replying to them, only seeing half the conversation.

Shaddowcraft is great for ignoring certain people but it would be impossible to keep up with ignoring commands for this huge influx of MR nubs right after the 1.5 update.

So consider this practice for disbanding spawn realms. Get good enough to compete with the graduates of the Sally Lightning-Fingers Academy.
-1. It's a permanent fix to a temporary problem. Overkill may be underrated, but it's not THAT underrated.
