I think this may be rejected, but I want to give it a shot.

Suggestion: I think that we should have a private realm spawn nether owned by Intelli or Rokkrwolf312. I believe this would help Staff a lot, since everyday they come into nether like 5-10 times a day fixing silly griefs in it. I believe that the nether spawn should be private until you are 50 blocks away from spawn. If one, who is a trustworthy veteran, to want to post a sign their, whether it is to advertise a pvp tourney that is going to take place soon, should ask Rokkrwolf312 or Intelli for permission on it as well pay a small fee of say 1000cr or 1k. It will be similar to regular private realms, but just in nether. This would be the only private spot in nether as well, since it is where everyone who is anyone goes into nether. Also, the realm privileges of a member that isn't Rokkrwolf312 or Intelli will have privileges to it taken away, adding what they want. However, those who do want to post something, will only be once per month, so the cause of spam can be kicked out as a problem.

Pros: It will help solve the common griefing of nether spawn as well as the inappropriate signs. It will allow staff to go in unprotected and having the risk of being killed in nether due to fixing a grief.

Cons: It may take a lot of Intelli's time for coding as well as the spam to nubs asking for privileges for something that is non-important.

Or even just having a 10 block radius protected will be sufficient. With a small protection you can still put up signs fairly close and you will have a chance to survive entering if someone decides to lava the place or dig a death trap.

I forgot to add that it will also solve the issue of having people block the portals near spawn with blocks, traps, or lava.

If possible, I would like to see this implemented. Or like Cold says, only make it a small radius around the portal just so that griefers can't trap people in the portal.

The only really really bad flaw about this i could see, is that it is not possible as jackavsfan said, but who knows, there could be a flaw that staff noticed.

Would this area also have pvp disabled?
I think that would help dissuade the cheap shot snipers.

No; Pvp will still be enabled, it is just that the realm is private. Nether is nether, not the overworld. There will still be the same rules, but the rules of the nether will be protected by private land so none of the signs say, "Rules: Hack like crazy" Snipers are just pvpers and nether is pvp. It is not across the whole nether that realms can be bought, but just spawn nether until 50 blocks away from spawn nether.

I like the fact that the nether is always changing, and I would like to change nether spawn sometime, because it is kinda just flat and boring . Even if you made it a realm the nether all around it would be griefed.

I like this idea. Mostly because the next time someone says "Diamonds in the nether, PVP required." I can walk in with a block of activated dynamite and not grief the nether portal at spawn (JK).
Seriously though, aesthetics aside, there is no real reason to make that area public. 50 blocks in the nether is equal to approximately 500 in the overworld, so an area of 25-50 blocks that are "locked" would be completely resonable (aside from aesthetics that is).
