All the other ores are lootable, so I don't see why this one shouldn't be. If it has something to do with value, I expect that the price of redstone will increase when 1.5 comes out. So, yeah. A pretty simple suggestion. Vote!

Looting is already allowed in the wilderness.

Looting is allowed in the wilderness, but not of Redstone ore. All the others are allowed.

Still don't see why you would its part of peoples builds and seems a bit sad you can't go out on your own to gather red stone in the over world. I don't think there should be any type of griefing in the nether. The wild tho, go wild and take it all.

There seems to be some confusion here. Everything in chests is fair game in both the nether and the Wild. This is called looting. The list of things that can be taken when placed in these locations is what I suspect you're talking about. If that's the case, you should probably clarify that.

How about placed valuables? I think dlgn wants redstone ore to be counted as a placed valuable...

If your going to make a thread on lootable placed blocks. It should be on anvils, and bookshelves. I keep finding them, but can't loot them, but they are valuable...

I know you can loot anvils, idk about bookshelves, but probably.

I checked the list, and they weren't on it
