Why:
This is a completely legitament request, nothing stupid like -ZOMG LET'S ADD PLANES- it's not like that... I just think that the admins never get on, and some off them seem like they don't even excist, and sometimes while it's lagging in the game so horribly, and no admins are on, but mods are on, and the server needs to be restarted, no one can do it even though like huge amounts of mods are on, so my idea is either give mods the power to restarted the server or promote a few of the mods to admins, some of the moderators are literally on ALL the time, like panthers or rokkerwolf (that might be how you spell his name I have no idea) or twisted or someone like that.

I just think it would be HIGHLY beneficial to the server to promote some or one of the well deserving mods to admins.

There have been rumors Panthers is getting promoted, and I have to say I'm happy about it. He's one of the most capable mods, and I feel Intelli could use a bit of help every now and again.

Edit: According to Panther's they do have the restart power even though it isn't listed as a command they do have it.

To have restart powers, they would have to be given root access to the server. This access is independent of whether or not they are an admin on minecraft.

There have been issues with admins in the past. Intelli keeping access to the server highly restricted is very understandable and in this case, lag is preferable to the alternatives.
