Recently there have been a lot of new players asking "Is this a _____ server?" Insert whatever crazy server they're looking for where the blank is. I know server/helpbot has a "We are a legit vanilla survival server." or something like that answer that it sometimes says, though I don't remember the trigger.

My suggestion would be to add "Is this a ____ server" to the list of things that would trigger the above mentioned server response.

I have a feeling the filter for this would have to be too greedy for it to work. People ask in so many different ways like "Is this ftb?" or "Where's parkour?" or "How do I get to the skyblock?". I would guess that only one in five actually say "Is this a __ server?" and we can't extend the filter to "Is this __" or "Where's ___" because in no time, Helpy would be spamming chat like crazy. IE, Person: "How do I get to the city?" Helpy: "Person, we are a legit vanilla-themed survival server."

Yes, but it's not about being able to answer every query. If helpbot can answer say, as you suggested, 1 in 5 people who ask the question in this format then that's 1 in 5 times someone else on the server doesn't have to stop what they're doing and type out a response, in the name of being helpful.

This is an excellently worded trigger, in that I can't see how it would mess up very often if at all and would cover a wide range of questions many of which are currently being asked quite frequently. I would love to see it added as soon as possible.

Yes, it would help those one in five people, which I suppose is better than nothing.

Hopefully the problem will be over soon. The ad that keeps misleading people should be ending in a few days.

It's not misleading anyone they just don't know how to read correctly and or scroll down on the page.

I've seen the ad...it's just a box that appears at the top of search results. But really it's not misleading...It says "MineRealm" and has information about the server. Clicking the ad thinking it's a search result would be akin to clicking one of the ads on the sides of Google search results by mistake. It really looks nothing like the other search results and you'd think it wouldn't happen as often as it does.
