I am sick and tired of chasing someone, then I catch him I rough him up and when he's close to death BAM he/she logs
I propose that when your hit, you cannot log out for 20 seconds. You can check the remaining time by typing /ht for hit time.
PROS: this will greatly reduce the amount of flaming by players.
Cons: coding.
there is one thing I want to make cler though:I WANT TO SEE ABSOULUTELY NO FLAMING IN THIS ABOUT WHO LOGS OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT IF SO IT WILL END A FORUM BAN.

Absolutely not. There's a difference between PvP logging (When you both agree to PvP and he/she logs out to prevent death) and simply trying to get away with your things when ambushed in the nether. If I'm traveling by nether and I have some good things on me, I log out when hit to preserve my items. Thats not PvP logging...This is so selfish. You're basically complaining that you can't kill someone to get his things. That's not cool.

I don't see how this would actually work. How can you stop someone from loggin off?

You can't really, the only thing you could do is punish for logging off, which might make the player think twice about it.

They're still a chance that they crash.. and that could turn disastrous. Some changes might have to be made regarding pvp logging, but I can already see the corrupt situations this could bring up.

Things related to pvp logging? Nope. They want that cheap easy kill it seems, then argue about if it was a legal pvp action with all things agreed on, blah blah balh, such and such, and this or that.
I personally say that pvp in the nether, over world, and the end be completely disabled until further notice.
