Im pretty sure its happened to all of us, your about to kill someone and boom, they log out. What I suggest is that when your try to log out in the nether that you should need 10 seconds of not getting hit to be able to log out. This would get rid of PVP logging.

Great idea, this would make pvp 100x better.

Have you not seen literally three or more iterations (in some form) of this shot down? Also, idiocy. If you want to know more, search the forums until you find another thread about this.

Look at the other threads related to PvP logging, then the suggestion, then take a look at the outcome in the polls.

No polls that I have the patience to look for have this suggestion. I have played on multiple PVP servers and they all have this system implemented

Key phrase: PvP Server
Minerealm is not a PvP server. PvP is just an aspect about this server, nothing more.

Really the only reason you would vote "no" is because you pvp log yourself.
If this idea does not fit all your picky needs what about auto dying if you log out in a certain amount of time after pvping.

There is nothing wrong with pvp logging to disengage combat, don't try to fix something that isn't broken.

Or... You just don't think that this is necessary. Along with being unnecessary comes the fact that people don't have the best computers in the world. Let's say your traveling home in the nether with an inventory full of goodies far away from spawn where no one is, supposedly, around. Now let's say you are ambushed, but fret not, you have the best PvP gear in the world and your attacker isn't wearing anything. Your attacker punches you; half of a heart of damage. You are about to attack back when your game runs out of memory and you crash.
You can figure out the rest of the story.

I personally don't have a problem with pvp logging, and if you do happen to take advantage of pvp logging, you'll wind up banned.
