[IMPLEMENTED] Prevent language from appearing in public chat

Because this server has a no-swear policy due to there being minors (little kids) playing on the server and because Intelli wants to ensure that the minors don't learn vulgar language from Minerealm and to show that Minerealm is a swear-free, family friendly server. However, with our no-swear filter installed, messages that appear in chat with swears will still receive a warning, BUT the swear word is revealed, thereby making efforts to prevent children from learning that language, futile.
My suggestion is to modify the swear filter so any message about to be posted in the public chat will not appear in the public chat at all, but a warning is still given and can be seen in the public chat. This will prevent minors from seeing and learning language that they should not know, keep our server's chat clean and swear-free, warnings will still be announced in public (in case someone is about to swear ban him/herself, someone will know when they are doing it so that it can be prevented), and warnings will still be given so that the user knows that they have said inappropriate terms.

I have also thought that some players might think that because their inappropriate language did not appear in public chat, then they will be safe to swear again. Perhaps to prevent this, we could alter the warning message to say,
"(Player name) if you attempt to post inappropriate language again, YOU WILL BE BANNED. Please remove any inappropriate language before posting."

Opinions?
If you disagree, please post why

[Edit]: Perhaps the warning change isn't necessary. What do you guys think of the warning message? Please post your opinions!

This is nice, but would you still be banned for inappropriate language?

Yes, you would receive a ban warning. Followed by a ban for continuation.

Although, now that I've thought about it...
A ban might not be completely necessary...
I'm indecisive on this.

What do you guys think, would a ban be completely necessary if this were implemented?

Auto bans take care of trolls/griefers/spammers when no staff are online.

And isn't the swear filter meant to prevent swears from appearing in the chat?

My main motivation is for the minors.

And, sure, our current filter reduces inappropriate language from being shown, but it is still shown.

Also, consider this: If our server had a filter that prevented inappropriate language from being seen, then that would make our server look very civilized, appropriate, and kid-friendly. Did I mention that these qualities might help boost server ratings and overall appeal to third party viewers?

A ban would be technically unnecessary, but if someone's the type to swear, they'll probably also troll, and get banned by staff. I'm divided.

I am in support of this, but treat repeated attempts as spam instead of the two strike policy that swearing currently carries.

Not always true. Yesterday a spammer was online and managed to post nearly 100 msgs advertising a server. There was no auto-kick and a staff member had to be contacted outside of the server.
