[REJECTED] Suggestion: Option to include tax in transactions

Since everybodys doing it :D I'm suggesting to add an option while giving credits to include tax. Ahem . . . this is how it would work. So say you want to give EXACTLY x amount of credits to a player AFTER taxes? Instead of doing the math yourself, you would enter

/credits give TAX <user> <x> (or something along those lines)

The script will automatically charge you the amount of credits necessary to give x credits to the user. As usual, a message will appear showing the amount of credits the player will recieve with a /yes or /no confirmation, PLUS the amount of credits you will lose (obviouslly you would need to give more credits then agreed upon therefor should be informed on the actual amount given)

I think it would be a nice addition if possible and make trades go smoother. What do you think? :)

Take calculator. Type in desired amount of credits. Multiply by 1.11.

The harm is that said update requires additional coding from Intelli. Additional coding also requires extra memory, which could contribute to lag. This potential harm is not worth the very small convenience of not having to pick up the calculator.

Well when you put it like that it sounds like hell. If its that big a hassle it shouldn't be bothered with of course. I would leave it up to Intelli to make the decision from that angle anyway, the suggestion is for an option not to contribute to lag and Intelli's hard labor. sigh
