I think you missed it. That happened on the second anniversary event. Might happen again if Intelli decides to have a New Years or Christmas event and drop the ban list for that short time.

Magerman, why don't you just ban appeal?

I'm torn on this one. It would certainly be good to see certain banned players again, but in other cases having certain banned players back would only re-open old wounds in the community.

lolno. I got banned for shenanigans during one of the old maps for the 2nd anniversary event

Banned players are banned for a reason, if you feel a ban is wrong then post your appeal, but there are very few cases where a player was wrongfully banned. As far as events the past 2nd anniversary was handled on a seperate ban list so most players were allowed back on the old maps, but we were banning for the usually rules if you broke them. Anyways rejected.

I was banned wrongly because the staff went off the player's word and not mine when I explained what I meant

I was the one who banned you and I went over both sides, it wasn't the first time you've been in a position of disrespect or trolling. This is the place to discuss this as I told you appeal.
