So, I'm the kind of person that would actually like to be able to see death messages even though I don't pvp. I was sad when the two became merged. But, I know that not everyone would like to see them, and I probably wouldn't always like to. So I was thinking about just having a different command to toggle it.

Good? Bad?

I really like this idea, yes from me.

I think this was suggested before and left unanswered. I hope this gets accepted thou like \deaths or something like that

It can sometimes be annoying, so I wouldn't want it to be on all the time, but if it can be toggled with a separate command, that would be ok with me.

Death messages were separated from regular chat and moved to /pvp because they were spamming the global chat. It was very annoying to be interrupted in chat with the message "Idiot1 was killed by fire/falling/magic/stabbing/pricking/drowning/blah/blah/blah".

However, if the death messages were a separate toggle command like "/annoymewithdeathmessages" then I could change my vote to a yes.

This is an idea if you want it. So you don't even have to turn on the command. Stop freaking out on suggestion threads

I usually just turn on PVP to see death messages but would prefer it to be separated.
