[REJECTED] Disable potion of invisibiltiy.

I don't think this potion is useful for anything besides causing problems for other players.
- Stalk and kill players in the Nether or wilderness who can't fight back.
- Stalk players in their realms and sneak into places you're not supposed to be.
- Stalk players and cause other problems for them. (E.g. I went to a zombie spawner to get zombie villagers, but a stalker destroyed the spawner. Stalkers could also kill players using environmental damage, and do all sorts of griefing anonymously.)
I just logged off because I was building in the Nether when a stalker tried to kill me, and he was persistent about it. This would not be a problem if I could see him, but because I can't, I have to wait until these sorts of players clear off the server.
I suppose the potion can be useful for people to avoid PVP, but it's not necessary. Besides, people that would benefit from it probably aren't crafting golden carrots. I think this potion causes way more problems than it solves.

More like,
Should we be able to have a potion "disabled"?

Nothing is anonymous here. Griefing is griefing, invisible or not. It will show up on the block logs.
As for pvp, if they are invisible, it means that they are not wearing armor or using weapons. Also note that invisible players have the little swirls that potion effects have... so you CAN still see them... it is just hard. A couple swings of your sword and problem solved...

You're trying to ban ninjas. No one can ban ninjas. Because you CAN'T SEE Ninjas.
This is my opinion.

I think this should be disabled because of all the people who sit in trade trying to see items. Yes you can take a screen shot but of what? pair of boots, melons in-hand, and some bubbles coming off them? This in my opinion ruins the game.

i think that we could have Invisible pots enabled BUT disabled in trade so you cant do /trade if youre invisible because some random guy can wait in trade for traders and run in and take the stuff they are trading so yeah..

I'm not just talking about breaking and placing blocks, but the much more common definition of griefing. That is, playing to cause grief to other players, and that's what this potion is for. I didn't know so many people thought this potion was an appropriate addition, but now we know.

1. I've never had a potion of invisibility. 2. I would never engage in PVP unless forced to.
