When a User on your Buddy list logs in, it would be good if the stood out from other players.

It could be something like this:

"Your Buddy: VVolfie joined the game."
"Your Buddy: Rokkrwolf312 left the game."

I feel it would just be a useful nice feature to have.

What does everyone think?

Great idea, perfect as is.

I voted no. This would again cause too many notifications in normal chat. Same basis as why death notifications were disabled. If you want to see which of your buddies are online, just type /buddy list.

With all the buddies people would have this would just be like spam and kinda get annoying :/

This idea would be good if there was a option to toggle the notifications. As some people suggested, this might be spamming because some players have a large list of buddies. The way I see it though, I have ~50 buddies and at most there are 10 online at a time. Wouldn't spam too much if this is similar to some people.

What Roo's saying is that instead of recieving a normal notification on your screen, the "Player has left the game" notification would be replaced with "<Buddy>Roobean has left the game".

Basically, the original notification would be replaced with one that attracts more attention, so It'll be easier know when your buddies leave the game. The only con is a more colourful chat; which to some people may even be as bad as spam.

This seems like a decent idea... but I have 74 buddies, so it would spam chat. If you could toggle wether you see it or not, then I would be for this idea.
